Why Oklahoma Homeowners Need a FORTIFIED Roof

FORTIFIED roofing systems were originally designed for hurricane-prone coastal regions. Today, they’re being used in Oklahoma because our weather demands stronger protection.

Oklahoma homes face:

  • 100+ mph wind events
  • Large, destructive hail
  • Rapidly intensifying storms
  • Tornado-prone conditions
A FORTIFIED Roof strengthens the entire roofing system—not just the shingles—helping reduce the risk of catastrophic roof failure.

What Makes a Roof FORTIFIED?

A FORTIFIED Roof goes beyond standard installation practices. It includes system-level upgrades such as: Stronger roof deck attachment Sealed roof deck to help prevent water intrusion Hurricane-rated edge protection Impact-resistant shingles (hail supplement) Enhanced flashing and vent installation The result is a roof built for resilience, durability, and peace of mind.
